It’s cool to see a bridge that has been designed to be different, aesthetically challenging and not to everyone’s taste.
But it’s interesting and performs well as a bridge, wide, covered, separated bike lanes and lit up well.
The night time photos are fab and it’s worth coming here with camera in hand.
One of a series of very handy bridges for bike riders looking to cross the river. Good bike access both ends, linking Kurilpa Point and the arts precinct with Roma Street in the city. Nice views of the river and CBD with handy lay-by seating part way along.
Nice wide bridge with good views. For pedestrians and cyclists.
Love it, great design, lots of space for pedestrians and cyclists
In todays modern age it is difficult to find a Bridge that effectively transports people from one end to the other. However, the Kurilpa bridge is, dare I say, the most productively efficient bridge designed to date. However, this is only a 3 star because I believe it doesn’t refract quite enough.
Air show at Riverfire, Growler was absolutely amazing to see up close, the sound was fire!
Beautiful amazing views over the river and the night lights and city of Brisbane CBD. Not a long distance, but to find the bridge by car is not easy at all if you are not familiar with the area. Also given the fact it is situated in CBD, never easy to find a parking to stop and walk to. We did however luckily at night time.
Nice stroll experience on the bridge. Cute hangout area spots to stop and to see the views with seating too.
Stinky at one of the start/end point of the bridge, smelt so awful could honestly vomit, had to run back and away from the horrible scent.
Few homeless around this area. But this bridge is good option for a shorter bike loop around the city
